Trash it!!!

Here is a bridal bouquet I did for a Trash the dress session. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's when a bride and groom take crazy, funny pictures after the wedding date. You can do anything that may (or may not) 'trash' your dress, like walking in the ocean at the beach or rolling around in green grass haha.. I will be updating with pictures from the photographer when I receive them :)

PINK PINK PINK!

This particular bouquet makes me think of LIPSTICK! The bright pink combined with the bright red is a happy mix!

Modern take on the classic white bouquet

I always love crisp white and vivid green together. It looks fresh and modern. Carnations are great in bridal bouquets because of the scent and when paired with the green and white mums, actually help with the modern sophisticated look of this bouquet.

Fall Is Upon Us

My latest creation I made for the house is full of all the gorgeous colors Autumn has to offer....all the yellow and orange Mums you could imgine..lillies...yellow and green roses..and a mix of eucalypus.. yellow celosia and lots of hypericum berries ..and also some chiles!!!...everytime I glance at this arrangement it makes me want to jump into a pile of leaves =)

Ready for fall, not ready to give up summer

My recent visit to the flowermart ended up looking like this...I got inspired by fall and all the amazing deep reds, and wine colors. I created a tall center, with black baccara roses and even a bouquet to match :).....I love the way the roses look like velvet...eventhough I wanted to make this rich, almost vintage, elegant peice...part of me still didn't want to give up summer yet and make something fun..heehee....so I made a funky little pomander with green pompoms and bright pink ribbon...I love these things!!!

Mother's Day May 11, 2009

Here are a couple of pictures of the simple garden style arrangement that I made for my Mom for Mother's Day. It is made of Purple Iris, Blue Hydrangea, White Roses, Purple Freesia, Yellow Ranunculus, Golden Aster, & Gunnie & Baby Eucalyptus. The container I chose is a Terra Cotta Pot that I covered in Lavender and tied off with Raffia.
